Amen, brother!!

As a loyal DP user who has recently started teaching Logic Express to kids, I find this (one of the only things) lacking in DP vs Logic. Also Pro Tools can do a "real time bounce" too - and as far as I'm aware, so can almost every other sequencer!!
As I work with more and more virtual instruments, this missing feature annoys me more and more!! Get it together chaps!!

Punt the audio monitor and let's use the meters in the mixer, even when in direct HW play through.... too many windows.....

Please make audio sync actually record in time with mLAN. I have had problems with this since 4.6 and now can't open the projects I am working on now in 4.5 so can't even go back so I can record audio in time!

I am getting latencies of 1000 to 5000 samples that vary every day so can't even set the compensation and leave it at that.. It's driving me crazy!!

Pleeeeeeeeeeeease.... :)

Try "trim" plug (left visible) if you haven't got a 3rd party meter.

So, I'll select the soundbites and choose smooth audio edits...edge edit only... and only some of the soundbites will actually have the gaps filled in. It seems improved with the one small test I performed but not completely functioning, yet.
Isn't there a known (adverrtised) limitation that the files to be filled in must have been from the same file and possibly in the same order as original? I don't think it is supposed to fill in two different files as if they were one- that would be Merge, right?

As a Traveler and Cuemix user, I would love to see the cuemix console faders directly in the mixing window of DP. that way when I save a project , All my cuemix settings for that song would be saved with it.

anyone else has mixer channel for current track in a consoldiate windows setup and has the same problem? not a biggie but a wish...

r.
Right this is a weird one, I think it might be a bug.

I've turned off consolidated windows because I couldnt find any way to not have the waveform editor to not appear in consolidated windows.....

ok that worked, but consolidated windows still works. Which is good. I like consolidated windows.

Does anyone else get this? The only reason for it I can think of is that my screensets are save with consolidated windows in them

Change the gain of a sound bite in the arrange window by dragging up or down on a handle, like Cubase/Nuendo does.

I second that. For comping this would be really useful. Sometimes a drop in ends up being slightly louder or quiter so just adjusting that soundbite level is very handy.

I use Trim to do this, but it would be handy that way too.

Optional mouse/fader gear ratio which could be selected in Mixer mini menu!

Default is as it is now... with option of a 2:1 ratio of mouse movement to fader movement. IOW you'll have to move mouse twice as far to move fader same distance as with default setting.

little pan/volume faders in the sequence overview on the left. no need to go to the mixer then.

Yes, that is very practical. Good one.

Would love to be able to create patch lists for VIs not listed in Audio/MIDI setup (e.g., sample libraries locked in sample players -- NI products) so I can choose patches (pre-loaded in the sample player) from the Tracks Window.
