Looks pretty cool. Has audio previews of instruments ala Komplete Kontrol in this version and preset tags. Make sure to install the new product called "Tag Library" that now appears in UVI Portal.. It's pretty big though at 2.83 GB. I'm planning to take a look and see if I can delete tags (I assume at that size it may contain the audio previews also) of instruments I don't have.
3.1.0
------------
- Add new browser with preset tags, audio previews, improved search, favorites, and an optimized
layout
- Add VCF-4023 FX: A virtual analog emulation of the ARP 4023 VCF circuit (as found in ARP
Odyssey rev1) featuring OTA saturation and self-oscillation
- Fix double note issue in Cartesian sequencer
- Fix sustain pedal issue in mono mode
- Fix crash when trying to connect a sub modulation higher than on the Program level
- Add option to rewrite underscores as spaces in Open Sound Control addresses

Watch out with the UVI Portal update of Falcon 3.1.0. For some strange reason it simply downloads the installer do the Downloads folder (at least on my system) but doesn't actually run it. UVI Portal reports it's installed, but it's not.

More on the new Falcon 3.1.0:
I had the hardest time figuring out how I was supposed to hear the instrument previews. There's a new manual you should download with this version. I finally had to double-click on the first instrument in the left pane where it says "Empty" and then the new browser appeared and THAT is where you can hear audio previews if there are any. (There's also a little folder icon up near that top of the GUI in the middle that will activate this.) Obviously there wont be previews for older libraries, like the MOTU library.

The Kirk Hunter Farewell Sale: ends Nov. 1st. I know these are older, I guess the questions are whether they're worth it and whether they'll work with OS 15+ and still be usable in a year or 2. https://www.kirkhunterstudios.com/?ct=t ... 872940e11c

I posted about this in the Deals topic which is a better place to post about these things: viewtopic.php?p=615089#p615089
I got Kinetic Percussion Motion Engine. The instruments that use Kontakt I imagine would be good for a good long time as they don't use their own playback engine but just need Kontakt.

I had the same problem. Updated UVI Portal and when I ran the Falcon updater… it downloaded it, but just kept spinning. Had to force quit UVI portal and re-start, then it installed the Falcon 3.1 update just fine.
