Re: The free VI's/plugs list.
I wonder if one needs BEYER dynamic headphones for this to work right? I tried it on headphones, (Sony), and in my main studio monitors. The “car:” setting intrigued me a bit but I doubt I will use this plug in.

SineVibes has just release Zap, a freeware effect that takes the amplitude of an input track and uses it to control the frequency of a waveform.

Stroh Violin VI for Kontakt 5.4 at Impact Soundworks. On first loading, it is unable to find a particular sample. The automatic location function followed by a reserve will fix the problem.

…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. Just got an email from Brainworx about the pedal version plug-in of their BX Opto Comp. It has fewer features, but hey... it's free right now until July 22nd. Normally $49.
Go here:

Re: The free VI's/plugs list.
Looks pretty handy.
FWIW, DP's ability to trigger MIDI would make this possible with ANY synth plug.
But this does precisely what it is designed to do well-- add a little "pants poopin' low-end" into the kick.
