Just found a MAJOR issue with Yosemite that will preclude me from using it on my MacBook for live shows:

I have responded by saying that this does not resolve the issue and they need to update DP's compatability with Yosemite. So I don't know from this whether there will be an update soon - it doesn't sound like it.
Just discovered that when you are in full screen and want to get out of it but not exit the project, just hit cmd-w. The windows get screwed up a bit and that should be addressed, but if you are using window sets you can get back to work in a click with windows where you want them.
That half solves the problem.

On my machine that means close window (which then seems to close the project) - have you got that set to anything different in your customised commands?

ctl-shift-w is close project and cmd-w is close window. I close windows with that command all the time and it's never closed the project That's the way the Commands have always been in DP for me. I believe it's the default setting in the commands window (search for "close.")

On my setup, command-w closes the open window that is in front, but if that is the consolidated window, it prompts to save and closes the project. I don't recall ever changing the preferences.

Yes, if you are NOT in full screen in the consolidated window it will close the project, but on my system this morning from full screen, it simply went to an odd and irrational window setup. Again, one click on the window set and it was Miller Time
® again.

I'm seeing the project close whether it's in full screen mode or not. In either case, I get back to the splash screen if the project was already saved, and a save prompt if not. Commands window shows Command-W mapped to Close Window.
I don't see Command-W mapped to anything in the System Preferences, but the default is Close Window, and that appears active and working as expected in other applications.

I'll see if I can do a screen capture. Maybe I'm just lucky and maybe there's something "wrong" with my system. I do use Quickeys but not anything related to window behavior.

Preferences>Consolidated Window>"Close document when consolidated the window closes" should help with your Cmd-W issue.

Also, as per MOTU tech support this morning (Techlinks do work) you can opt click the green expand button to use traditional full screen and not go into the OSX "hog" full screen. I prefer the latter and then fudging with the window set. I only have to do that when I want to drag a sound into DP or MachFive. It would be nice if the OS let you click on one thing in one full screen and drag it to another for drag and drop. I suppose one could just copy and paste if all apps supported that more completely. Some day. In the mean time, here's to original "drag and drop" procedure. Glad we don't use that.

He must have written this the night before Y came out:
"Similarly annoying, iTunes no longer has a update podcasts button. Instead, you have to highlight all of them, right-click, and select refresh."
The Refresh button is at the bottom of the Podcasts sidebar.
