I love the white and grey themes, and find that your tastes are quite a bit more colourful than mine. It is really fascinating how people can respond so differently to colour, and tastes, and shapes, and sounds, etc.

Truthfully, in recent years I have really been surprised at how crazy so many DP users have become over Andy's colourful themes and the craving of more colour in their DAW. I've tried different themes and then wanted to go right back to white and grey. I prefer the tools to be grey (just like my Macs) and then for the material being worked with (and the plugins) to be more colourful and to stand out.

But I take off my hat to MOTU (and Andy) for making this the DAW where users can customize it to best suit their own personal tastes--to make DP feel like home for each individual. That is truly one of those great "little things" in DP.

I will go through all the themes in DP8 and will be open to finding out if any of them speak to me.

That's great news. That was certainly an area that needed some attention!

More "little things" - DP8 opens with your last-saved Plug-in set from 7.24.
You don't have to make an entirely new set.

Also, it's nice to finally see the Cocoa GUI for all of Apple's plug-ins, instead of the white-and-black generic GUI's.

When zooming vertically in the Tracks window, the font stay clean and sharp. I like the new font here and the cleaner look elsewhere.
