I am 1000% against piracy and theft of ANY kind (OK, I borrow from Beethoven and Mozart every so often...) But thisPDF thing is just so dumb sometimes. I think a sticky would be great. Stop clogging the boards with such drivel!

I dared not, and I didn't!
But it does raise an interesting question:
If there are third-party pdf's on the web which were made with the legal blessing of MOTU, is it unethical to mention them here?

I guess the question is actually: how free IS our speech on this board? Jim has let some pretty odd stuff stay and I don;t see him as a censor (unless it is offensive). But I don;t think we should deliberately point pirates to places where they can get help.Let em rot, I say! ARGH!

OK. I'm gonna be bad. I'm gonna be VERY bad.
You want the damn PDF manual/ YOU WANT IT?! I'm gonna give it to you:

Now go do something constructive with it!
(Hey Jim, how about THIS link in the sticky? It would be music to their 'ears...')

I wasn't aware that there was such a thing. If you know of any tell me and I will write to MOTU directly and ask if they would have a problem linking to it. It may have been made with their blessing, but perhaps distributing it may not be. Let me know and I'll investigate. I don't care if MOTU doesn't care, but I wouldn't want to do this if they would be unhappy about it or it was illegal in any way.

I knew about that link as well, but the section on plug-ins was just...over the top (or was that under the bottom?) we HAVE hit bottom now.

Few things rise to the level of "bannable" offenses... but dude... that was
very close.

My eyes... my eyes... gouge out my eyes!
