Today I started my journey with DP 7.02 (just moved up from DP 5.13) I also installed the GUI AmpGUI7 GOLD and NIGHT.

I checked it out.. and checked it out even more. I got kinda obsessed actually :)

The jump from DP 5 to DP 7.02 feels hughe. Nevertheless, after some touring and clicking thru the menus and pin point checks in the manual, I soon could find my way home.
I must say DP became smarter, prettier and bigger. Massive! That´s including Amplidoods amazing GUI! This guy is a genius! Solo a track and all the other mixing board tracks will shade... Awesome! Color change on the AUX send levels amount..Awesome!

I´m amazed about the new features that I explored so far in DP 7.02. I still have many to check out and find, but DP is impressing me big time!
Thanks MOTU and Amplidood for this great experience!
I´m loving it! :D

A hard day in my world today. My beloved father-in-law succumbed to heart problems. We are all devastated, as we thought he was getting better and coming home for Thanksgiving. He was the sweetest, most gentle, and yet one of the strongest men I have ever known. This world was a far better place with him in it.

That's very sad, Andy, and you and your family have my condolences. I hope you will take some time off and go be with the family during this time. Don't worry about this place; we'll still be here, and the demand for your mods will not cease. It's time to be there for those who need your helping hand and hearing ear. Tell some great stories about him. Don't be afraid of the funny ones! Most people enjoy remembering people as they really were, and there's no need to stay all choked up after the funeral. It takes years to grieve.

Most of all, make tomorrow a real Thanksgiving Day!

In this kind of situation every words seems meaningless compared to the sadness of the moment. I'm very sorry for your loss, really …
