Can you tell what's the difference?
MOTUNATION (formerly UnicorNation) is an independent community for discussing Digital Performer and other MOTU audio software and hardware. It is not affiliated with MOTU.

It's all under the hood stuff, I just made sure everything matched up. I also plugged the .xml values from the mods into the new file versions of 7.02.Dwetmaster wrote:Can you tell what's the difference?
So did you see the Gold 3.0 that's coming?Shooshie wrote:I never thought I'd actually get hooked on a DP mod. MOTU seriously needs to incorporate this into DP. Seriously! Our tools should inspire us as well as facilitate, right? I think sometimes the code guys lose sight of this, which I can't entirely blame them for. Damn, it's a lot of work.Shooshie wrote:I never thought I'd actually get hooked on a DP mod. MOTU seriously needs to incorporate this into DP. Seriously! thanks in advance.
Just find the original DP app in the Finder. Right click and choose "Duplicate file" or whatever the exact command is (I'm on my Windoze machine right now). Once it's done there will be a file called "Digtial Performer 7.02 copy". Apply the desired mod to this copy, then rename the file replacing the word "copy" with the name of the mod, for example "Digital Performer 7.02 Night" Then all you have to do is put a copy of this on your dock and launch whichever version of DP you wish to run. You can make a copy for each mod you wish to have available. It won't hurt anything to have multiple copies of the DP app on your hard drive. I make a DP7 folder in the Applications folder just to keep things easier.bradswan wrote:Could someone reiterate how to make a copy of DP so I can apply these new mods and be able to go back and forth between them?

Maybe it's a known issue but on Night 1.3 with mixer in narrow mode, there's some glitch (a lil white square over the "h" of "latch") on the automation popup.amplidood wrote:Night 1.3 and Gold Complete 3.1 posted....for 7.02 only

Check out the list in the first post...danworks wrote:Maybe it's a known issue but on Night 1.3 with mixer in narrow mode, there's some glitch (a lil white square over the "h" of "latch") on the automation popup.amplidood wrote:Night 1.3 and Gold Complete 3.1 posted....for 7.02 only
