Thanks for testing this James, yes, I see your sig. Tech support got back to me and the solution for me was:James Steele wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2024 3:14 pm
Okay... I just tested it. I figured I'd better because I had an APFS snapshot of by boot drive made just before I updated it. (I know keep a log in a text file of when I install new plugs/updates and when I make Time Machine backups.). I can't explain it, but the 2.4.1 update seems to be working okay on my system. My specs are in my sig, but if you're using Tapatalk and can't see sigs, this is my system:
M1 Max Mac Studio, 64GB/2TB, macOS 14.5, Digital Performer 11.32, MOTU 828es, 24Ai, MIDI Express XT, UAD-2 TB3 Satellite OCTO, Avid S3, Komplete Kontrol S88 Mk2, Console 1 Mk2
It is useful. I’d post more but you usually beat me to it.James Steele wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2024 4:11 pm Glad it's useful to someone. Looking back over the posts, it seems like I'm making 80% of the posts, but what the heck! LOL
Well, part of my routine when I'm not working is to get up and launch all the various plugin developer update apps and soon as I see an update I post here as I'm installing it.bayswater wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2024 5:55 pmIt is useful. Release notes for 5.11.1
Date of release: 19 June 2024
SoundID Reference
→ Updated the algorithm for exporting presets to the Audient ORIA interface. No need to remeasure your setup - if your previously exported calibration preset caused some noise during playback, update SoundID Reference and export the preset to Audient ORIA again.
→ [macOS] Fixed an issue which would cause an application crash when using some Universal Audio interfaces.
→ Fixed some issues that didn't allow exporting to DADman previously.
→ [macOS] Fixed an issue which would rarely and inconsistently remove calibration profiles and settings files upon launch.
→ Fixed an issue that prevented exporting presets to Merging Anubis interface in some cases.
SoundID Reference plugin
→ Fixed an issue which prevented the user to bypass the plugin when using the in-DAW bypass controls.
We've got an update ready. It’s free for all users with Soundtoys version 5 or later plug-ins, and includes fixes and improvements that make things run even more smoothly in your DAW.

Here’s what this update will do for you:
Enhancements
SuperPlate now uses around 40% less CPU using optimizations tailored to your CPU.
Eliminates CPU spiking at the start (or end) of clips or regions.
Improved stability and performance when switching between Effect Rack presets in Logic on Apple Silicon.
PrimalTap now has improved parameter mapping for low cut control.
Improved VoiceOver support for Soundtoys uninstall utility on macOS.
Fixes
Effect Rack VST3 now dynamically updates automation parameter names.
Fixes compatibility issues between PACE and GarageBand/Logic on Intel.
Fixes excessive CPU usage when plug-ins receive MIDI input.
Fixes excessive CPU usage with VST2 in FL Studio on Windows.
Improved robustness of VST2 to VST3 replacement in Cakewalk and FL Studio.
Fixes an issue where Little Plate could create an artifact on tempo change.
Fixes an issue where Effect Rack might not recall bypass settings correctly in Cubase.
Fixes an issue where SuperPlate could crash on older Intel CPUs.
