Unlike the previous version, I'm pleased to say the AU didn't fail the plugin examination process on my iMac Pro (Intel).

Nice! I saw that. Lots of DP-specific fixes. That always makes me happy when a developer acknowledges us! :D

Addictive Drums 2.3.6 updated to 2.3.7 (for real this time)

I say "for real this time" because it accidentally was briefly released to the wild before it was ready according to a support tech at XLN. This time it's the real deal. Run XLN Online Installer. :)

SoundToys plugs updated from 5.4.1 to 5.4.2

Hmmmm... I don't check my user area often, but would be kind nice of SoundToys let their users know about these things. Maybe I dropped off their email list. I signed up again. Anyway, tonight I decided to check my user area for updates and found 5.4.2 is out. I had to hover my mouse cursor over the download link and check the version number in the archive filename to learn there was an update.

I did fine the release notes:
5.4.2 Update
May 30th, 2024

• SuperPlate now uses around 40% less CPU using optimizations tailored to your CPU.
• Eliminates CPU spiking at the start (or end) of clips or regions.
• Improved stability and performance when switching between Effect Rack presets in Logic on Apple Silicon.
• PrimalTap now has improved parameter mapping for low cut control.
• Improved VoiceOver support for Soundtoys uninstall utility on macOS.
• Effect Rack VST3 now dynamically updates automation parameter names.
• Fixes compatibility issues between PACE and GarageBand/Logic on Intel.
• Fixes excessive CPU usage when plug-ins receive MIDI input.
• Fixes excessive CPU usage with VST2 in FL Studio on Windows.
• Improved robustness of VST2 to VST3 replacement in Cakewalk and FL Studio.
• Fixes an issue where Little Plate could create an artifact on tempo change.
• Fixes an issue where Effect Rack might not recall bypass settings correctly in Cubase.

Spectralayers 11 (grace period email)

I got a reminder email from Steinberg about their grace period for recent purchasers of Spectralayers 10 getting v11.

All I had to do was launch Steinberg Download Assistant.app and it was there. No authorization step was needed.

I had just finished a pretty extensive project in SL 10, separating a vocal & acoustic guitar recorded in the same pass, and tuning the vocal. I'm tempted to re-unmix just to see if the guitars are improved. (Too much work on the vocal and the way I did it, I can't swap in a newly extracted vocal with the pitch data. It's ok.)

You beat me to the punch!! Just got that email at 2am... only just now checked Steinberg Download Assistant and saw that I have Spectral Layers Pro 11 in "My product downloads." I upgraded to Pro on May 22 so I qualified for the free upgrade. Nice!

Kazrog Updates Today

Kazrog Updates Today

Got a notice in my email... I only have two of their plugins but they were both updated.

Note: What's odd is that when I just now installed True Dynamics 1.2.2 over the existing 1.2.1 installation, PlugInfo showed the version change, but I don't think the date changed, and Date Added in the Finder was old. So I manually deleted the plugs and ran the installer again and it was right. Weird. Might have been that a Mac restart would have fixed that but oh well.

Update: Very odd. Did the same thing with True Iron and installed 1.4.2 over the installation of 1.4.1. Same thing... in the Finder, even after reboot, Date Modified and Date Added do not update. Going to do the manual delete and re-install just because I'm OCD. I may write to Kazrog support just to let them know.
True Dynamics - Version 1.2.2 - June 19, 2024
Changes
• Greatly reduced audible pops on plugin insertion or voicing change.
• Ableton Live - Resolved issue where plugins would mute after exporting audio. • Reduced visual prominence of CPU overload warnings.
• Frameworks and SDKs updated.
True Iron - Version 1.4.2 - June 19, 2024

MNTRA Instruments MNDALA 2.4.0 updated to 2.4.1

https://www.mntra.io/mndala/
Change log (MNDALA 2.4.1):

Major fixes:
- General: Uses the user Application Support folder instead of the shared one to avoid admin permission issues with non-admin users (MacOS only).
- FX: Alls audio files used for impulse responses and granulation effects are now stored and dynamically loaded from the audio resources, significantly decreasing the size of the binary and improving performances on some machines.
- Round Robins: Increases the reserved size of the arrays used to keep track of used RR variations to avoid a potential delay of less than 0.5 ms on very slow and/or overloaded machines.
- Fixes the queuing of downloads. Queued downloads will correctly start after a download has finished.

Minor fixes:
- Autosync: Correctly clears the existing cache.
- Library: Fixes the icon alignment of instruments pulled from the server and not installed on the current machine.
- MIDI Muter: Optimize test conditions.
- Installer: Fixes a UI issue when uninstalling an instrument while no instrument is currently loaded (i.e. in launch state).
- Disables the loading of an empty instrument, which happened when restoring a DAW session that contained an instance of MNDALA with no preset loaded.

Other changes:
- License: Explicitly prohibits to use our sounds for AI training and/or Machine Learning.
- Tuning System: Adds tuning presets to the stock tunings (Yaman, Bhairav, Gujari Todi, Bageshri, Kafi, Darbari Kanada, Hansadhvani) and the Raga stock category.
- Settings: Relocating an instruments samples no longer requires relaunching MNDALA.
- When loading a preset, MNDALA will show a popup prompting you to relocate the instrument's samples when any sample used by that preset is missing.
- Updates the offline credentials format.
- Settings & General: Removes the possibility of using OpenGL.
- Settings: Remove Lazy Load Samples.

I did that update yesterday and now the player can't find any of my samples no matter what. Their support got back to me quickly and asked me to try a whole load of stuff that I haven't had time to do. If anyone finds a solution please let me know or start a new thread.

Wow! I haven't tested it yet. I need to. Do you need the older installer? I still have the 2.4.0 installer.

Okay... I just tested it. I figured I'd better because I had an APFS snapshot of by boot drive made just before I updated it. (I know keep a log in a text file of when I install new plugs/updates and when I make Time Machine backups.). I can't explain it, but the 2.4.1 update seems to be working okay on my system. My specs are in my sig, but if you're using Tapatalk and can't see sigs, this is my system:

M1 Max Mac Studio, 64GB/2TB, macOS 14.5, Digital Performer 11.32, MOTU 828es, 24Ai, MIDI Express XT, UAD-2 TB3 Satellite OCTO, Avid S3, Komplete Kontrol S88 Mk2, Console 1 Mk2
