wow thanks for the gimp stuff and at some point I may play with it, but will definitely need some help on how to do it.

There are a number of possible solutions, this one is probably the one that would be most eleagant and its free, comes with Apple SDK, but not neccessarily the easiest to setup:James Steele wrote:By the way... any of you programmer-sorta types know if there's an installer out there or something that could automate the application of a mod. Probably possible to write a script, but probably a hassle. Just thinking how cool it would be to be able to make a standalone executable that could both apply and mod and undo it afterword if required.
I have added no stages to any of what DP already did. You may not have noticed it before, but those multi activation stages have always been there for many buttons.dinobass wrote:Night is fantastic looking. The illumination animations kinda make it feel like DP's acting a little sluggish; it's a nice touch, but I prefer the on/off state. Thanks for all your time and effort on all these mods!

And you're welcome!
Fixed. Sorry bout that.dewdman42 wrote:What am I missing. One link at the head of this thread goes to the icon and one goes to the xcf files. Can't find the mod itself. ??
Heh, thanks man. I've got that laundry list of things that I'm *certain* someone at MOTU has seen. And I'm sure they still have no interest in giving us ways to change any of itjlaudon wrote:I'm loving the night mod - now I figured out what bugs me. It's not the mod - it's just that it looks so good it makes the normal things in DP not look that good. I'm talking about the fonts in the mixer sends and inserts. I've been transferring some files from Logic over to DP, and the thing that stands out is the Logic's insert fonts are clear and modern.
We also need to bug MOTU to get rid of the arrow space and use the whole space for fonts in the inserts.
Then, with your mod - it'll be the perfect DAW (well, except for that darn white strip by the mute/rec buttons...
You're welcome kwiz. Hope we get to hang in person someday.kwiz wrote:Amp, thank you.
