I've worked for 35 years on consoles with individual channel strips and the lack of division makes it look a bit "mackieish" to me.
I suppose if a virtual ribbon cable comes loose I'll have to open up the entire LCD to work on it rather than just cut a section out as before..........

i hate mono-GUI-board construction.
if one knob or fader stops working, it's most economic to throw the whole program away and buy a new one instead of trying to fix it.
or in this case would i have to throw out my entire macpro?
