I am a graphic designer for a living. I don't find anything particularly objectionable about DP new UI. I think it's a move in the right direction. I have a few personal preferences that differ slightly with what's offered, but they're negligible.

Care to share? I'd like to hear what an actual designer has to say.

I'm not to concerned one way or the other about the gui but I do think I'll miss the dividing lines between channels.
I've worked for 35 years on consoles with individual channel strips and the lack of division makes it look a bit "mackieish" to me.
I suppose if a virtual ribbon cable comes loose I'll have to open up the entire LCD to work on it rather than just cut a section out as before..........

i hate mono-GUI-board construction.

if one knob or fader stops working, it's most economic to throw the whole program away and buy a new one instead of trying to fix it.

or in this case would i have to throw out my entire macpro?
