Nah. When I installed it in a second computer, I noticed in the installer (hard to not miss) an option to avoid the Safari changes.
They consisted on changing the search engine to Yahoo and also the home page to open there as well. And apparently it also installs some Safari plugins.
But that didn't happen the second time
I am a less annoyed person now. It really is a breeze to navigate the Finder with this thing!
