The melodrama (if you can read) was not about computers, but how loathsome blind generalisations are because they bring nothing good to the table. They never have and they never will.
But this is, by all means your forum and you've cleary already established the terms.
I don't think I'll find unbalanced, pertinent information here so I'll kindly piss off.
James darling you can unregister me as you see fit.

The terms are generally simple and that is we TRY to have civilized discourse and not bring such a major attitude to table. I think your choice of words and tone were hostile and unnecessary... that's all. I think it should be possible for you to make a point without resorting to that... but perhaps maybe not.

Actually the topic began as: Mac Hacks Allow OS X on PCs - OT?
(If you can read)
The melodrama began as a civilized discussion about computers/PCs
and OSX.
You're one of those little boys who hides behind an internet
pseudonym and calls other people names.
You might need a hug..

Mmmmkay, my opinion is this:
It is only a question of time. of couse osx will be running on standard PC boxes. Intel and AMD, both I bet.
Windows XP will also be soon on MacIntel, despite of EFI. It is only technical issue to fool it with fake BIOS.
The other side of all this is that I would never work on hacked system. Most probably any MacOS X update on this system would require next hack etc.
Thats why I think Apple won't lose much profit. The small percentage of people who will start to use PC boxes with MacOS are the ones who probably would never buy a Mac anyway. Those who work on Macs will buy Mac anyway, I have been working on Macs since 1991 and all my Macs have paid back very well... I started with MacPlus 4MB RAM and 46MB HD.

Refreshing comments P.
Now that some time has passed since this post, many new things have come to light as you know.
I'm very pleased to see the dual cpu laps and it looks like the original thread post was correct and Apple will indeed use Intel to make their MBs.
This had better bring down the costs of the machines though and as far as I can tell with the laps, it's still pricey.
I have to say most of the posts here did open my eyes regardless of the spewing and hostility.
I believe now that we do need much faster p.c. like architecture to keep up.
Thanks all for the education and keys to my blinders shooshie.
