I work in the MIDI Editor about 90% of the time. The Track Overview is not detailed enough, and the Sequence Editor is too compact/messy looking for my tastes. If they can fix this paste bug, it'll be even better. AND if they can make it so when you click a MIDI note, it instantly tells you in the Event Info box (at the top of the MIDI window) what track it is, that would be stellar!

We're on the same wavelength, my friend. We've just got to keep bugging MOTU about this.

Every Thursday here in LA, a MOTU rep named Matt LaPoint hosts a free workshop on DP. Maybe some Thursday I'll head up to the valley again (been there once before) and sit down and show him some of these issues. Matt's a cool guy and is very receptive to feedback.

Let me know when you do, and I'll try to do a brief outline that hits on some of the changes that desperately need to be made. Of course, "brief" for me usually means anything under 25 pages, but I'll try to be ultra-brief!
