I've wondered about that. When I was touring, I was often a version behind, since I had to test a new version for about 6 months before I'd trust it on the road. It was a couple of years before I put DP3 to work. And I never used DP4 that way; not until 4.5 or so did I trust OSX and DP in a live situation.

I've just created 2 Snow Leopard partitions on my 5 production mac rigs ( live and studio )
alongside the 2 trusty Tiger partitions...

I'm glad Motu Hardware still supports Tiger.

The future of companies is multiple support IMHPOV...
