As I was sitting dreaming about getting my copy of DP8, I remembered being really apprehensive about "having to upgrade" because I had just lost the third screen on an old Mac Book running Performer 5.5 on the .030 system and had no way of making money playing live without it. After three bad times playing out with Logic I ordered immediately.
Dp7 was like putting on an old pair of jeans that became new with all these great features. They kept the great interface and tape player control buttons.
I was imaging in my mind that all of the power users here would/will be telling us how it's same comfortable workspace with upgrades & improvements.
I guess what I'm saying is after all these years I still have this great workspace that still feels like home and they haven't gone and spray painted the walls pink because someone else did.
Anyways, I'm Psyched
