Fingers crossed that UAD and NI will work with it...
hi Dave,
NI is 64bit already,UA is still 32bit.
I spoke to UA earlier this afternoon, they're closer to the 64bit release but not quite there yet.
The person I've spoken to many times and trust, says its in the testing stage so not too far away but it's not totally ready to be ported for 64bit and released.
I guess in the meantime we can run DP8 in 32bit mode.

The other news I confirmed with MOTU we will all be eligible for the Windows version once it's released.

All is says is: "Notation Editor

No problem. I'm just sitting around waiting for the UPS truck in a few weeks. :)

Right, I may have confused you by my general-purpose notation comment. I stick to lower-case when referring to all of the notation capabilities of DP, but I know from previous topics that it can get very confusing.

The seeming enhancements that I noticed had more to do with how Quickscribe interacts with video editing/syncing mode, and possibly the ability to have multiple Quickscribe windows open from multiple chunks in a project (though this may be related to the "hidden feature" that I found a few months ago and documented somewhere oi this specific forum -- sorry that my memory is faint due to the sea change in my life recently).

I also suspect that the "Notation Window" ☺ has not been updated in the least. Still useful from time to time.

Over at GS, the topic is so new that there isn't a single hater yet! How long will that last? Seven postings and ALL of them positive! Did Hell freeze over? Can pigs fly? :unicorn:

Is there any way to make to notes larger? A page number would suffice. I just can't find anything in the manual.

I bought 7.24 in June and was told I'd get a free upgrade to 8 when it came out. But how? The store still prices it for me, even though they have my 7.24 registration on June 26, 2012.

I don't think you can. That is why I'd love to see MOTU develop the window.
