Re: Mountain Lion and 828 mk3 default settings issue
I think we're all waiting for the 10.8.3 update from Apple before we'll see any driver updates. There have been some significant, yet subtle, changes under the hood in ML - still working the bugs out.

Re: Mountain Lion and 828 mk3 default settings issue
Hi All,
Thought i'd join the party.. OSX 10.8.3 here + 1.01 Firmware (Two 828's).. iMac 2011 has become very unstable since I installed the Motu drivers. But the issue of forgetting setup params is rather annoying.
I have two 828mkIII's connected via optical Adat with the slave running as internal clock. The second is supposed to use the Adat feed for it's clock, however as many have said.. When I boot up the clock setting is reset to its internal default and the output defaults to analogue 1-2..
Does anyone know how and where the Audio Setup stores it's prefs???
I would advise a larger QA resource at Motu, invest in a bit more Test Driven Dev, Regression and most important Integration..
I appear to be spending a great deal of time battling with over £1200 worth of external audio gear... I would say something went wrong

Re: Mountain Lion and 828 mk3 default settings issue
someone mentioned "Also if you haven't checked, in AMS the 828 replicates itself on each restart as a new MIDI device - #2 #3 #4, etc."
This is the same issue i have with the Digi MIDI IO. the workaround to this is to have Audio/MIDI setup app on mac os launch on bootup. I just set it to be hidden, so its out of the way. It prob. has no bearing on your problems with ML, but i thought id thro it out there. Never know. Good luck guys, i feel your pain!
