Yep, great website, great DAW, piss poor marketing of said DAW. They still consider Pro Tools to be their competitor from the looks of the whole thing, it's the composing tools like Logic, Cubase and Live that take market share from DP, Pro Tools isn't defeat-able at this point, like Microsoft only slow attrition will take them down.dewdman42 wrote:Done. It always amazes me how DP gets overlooked so often. I use it for a reason, its the best. I guess MOTU marketing is not.
Please start a new topic for this discussion. The voting goes on through November, so let's maybe just keep comments to what they've mostly been so far which is "Done" and one or two sentence comment. I don't want this thread to get bogged down. Better to take it here: http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtop ... =9&t=43997" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Michael Canavan wrote:It seems IMO that they know a certain audience will find it, and are relatively happy where they are?
So just post "Done" if you vote, rather than scare people off from voting by speculating that your email address is going to be passed around to vendors. IT WILL NOT. If SOS emails you after the contest, unsubscribe. Simple.Email addresses will not be passed onto any third party. However, SOS reserves the right to contact all voters by email for marketing purposes.
I apologize for speaking out of semi-ignorance. The occasional spam from SOS, which you can opt-out of, is no big deal. Not a reason to avoid voting for the candidate you believe in.James Steele wrote:The rules are here and regarding email address, I quote:
