Thanks MOTU, the 7.02 update is very welcome. I have recently bought Celemony Melodyne, and some of the advertised functions don't work when used as a plugin in DP 7. The .02 update does not fix them. Hopefully an update from Celemony is forthcoming.

You
really need to contact Celemony support about this. It is their responsibility to fix it, not MOTU's. Please list what isn't working
on your system, and the exact system you have, when sending them a tech support request. Their tech support e-mail is:
support@celemony.com
It would also be helpful to all of us here if you posted a list of things
in Melodyne Editor that aren't working for you.

Can you please post the Melodyne problems you are having on the following thread:

Is it just me or does 7.02 have automation lines built in the SE? Yay!

I have already contacted Celemony, and they have virtually "passed the buck" back to MOTU.
By the way, I did list the problems on another thread "Melodyne Editor Released", which you have also contributed to.
I do, however, thank you for your advice.

What's this mean?

The dotted lines for volume (at 0), pan (at Center), etc are already in the SE, and when you turn on automation, they become solid lines ready to automate right away.

It was like this before .
And this is the first time I see a MOTU Application upgradeable through two versions simultaneously .

That's not what I get. I still have to create an automation event before I get an editable line as. Nor do I see the dialogue box that asks which plug in set I want to use, that someone mentioned. I've confirmed I am looking at 7.02. I can "see" no differences at all between this and 7.01

I think you're right - for some reason the specific projectI'm working showed all dotted lines, which is actually a hassle becauase when you turn on automation, everything snaps to that position which screws up a rough mix (with no automation).
I'm finding pitch correction is a bit flaky in 7.02 (some soundbites don't show any pitch, some do). I went back to 7.01 for now.

Hmmmmm. I've been finding some stuff like that in 7.01, so I'm not sure it is really different in 7.02. You might want to try just restarting and trying 7.02 again. It may just take an opening or two before it settles down. The first time I opened it I had no keyboard commands working so I just quit and restarted (without being so hasty to press the "Okay" dialog boxes) and now it is working just fine.
