iPerformer, I'm sure you want honest opinions here, and I'll give you that. For my tastes, the brushed metal is a little too... i dunno; Panther-ish. Kinda retro OSX already. The rivets take me back to Bungie's Marathon, which I still rather like... in a 1st person shoot-em-up.

I think your control panel is nice, the Tracks Overview Window has potential; it may be fine as-is. But the mixing board is a little over-the-top for me. Too busy and contrasty. But then I've grown accustomed to the MOTU look. I may not be the best for useful commentary. I'll be interested to hear what Waxman says.

Kudos for helping out all us guys who are too lazy to make our own!

One other thing: to those of you who are wearing reading glasses, I find that the brighter the screen, the more it contracts your pupils, and the sharper the image. I literally have to use different glasses for a dark screen, and some dark interfaces, like Ozone's, I never really feel like I'm seeing clearly.

Something to think about.

Hey Shoosh!!
Thank you for the input. I take note. As I said before this is just a beta design.
With your help and everybody's help we'll get a new alternative GUI for DP7
thanks again.
Cheers
iP.

I love the control panel, the fader design (in the mixing window) is great, the mixing window
is way to busy (to me) and to dark.
I love the fact that you're putting so much obvious effort into this.
Everyone will benefit from whatever finished mod you come up with. :)
