What version of M5 v1 are you using — 1.2.3? Check the version on the plug-in file itself, in /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/MAS.bleach30 wrote:Mach Five (version 1) still crashes DP6.01
I got the same thing when checking my downloads. You have to get it from this page: http://www.motu.com/download/download_m ... oad_id=150Frodo wrote:
That is really wild! I got no PDF with my download. I just did a search for DP 6.01 and came up with zilch.
Also, I just checked my downloads again and still get this blurb:
There are currently no updates available for the version of Digital Performer registered to your MOTU.com login ID, or you do not have any Digital Performer registrations linked with your MOTU.com login ID...
It was Thread 8 that crashed, RA. You've pasted Thread 0 here.RecordingArts wrote:I'm having crashes with 6.01 that seems to be repeatable with Antares new Auto-Tune Evo. No doubt, it wouldn't fix all issues. It certainly wouldn't fix an issue related to a new version of a third-party plugin. I'm glad to hear that the UAD issue is among the positives. But I also hope that certain GUI issues that caused 6.0 to crash (with no plugins loaded) when selecting tracks, deleting markers, etc., has been taken care of.wurliuchi wrote:I don't think this release is meant to fix all -- or even very many -- of the problems people are experiencing. I think they had a list of things they didn't complete before releasing 6.0 and that's what we're seeing with 6.01, with maybe just a few bug or configuration fixes. I think the next release will have more bug fixes.
Yeah, that's good. They had to fix something! I'm going to check splicing and edge editing and fades, those were the killers for me.James Steele wrote:Well the UAD stuff seems to be working great.

I believe it's when switching between MIDI tracks for example with the arrow keys to quickly record enable them. You could do this in DP easily, but in DP 6 there is a noticeable lag and beachball that happens especially when switch between tracks that are assigned to different plugins.
That is unacceptable, and it really ticks me off.Bill O'C wrote:monkey man wrote:Thank you for your kind thoughts, James. I've already started the download (registration must be automatic I guess), and as long as it allows me to resume tomorrow, I'll be fine.
My prime motivations for seeking the swap with the wholesaler are the fact that I was laughed at and my request ignored (even though it was agreed to by the boss), leading to much unanticipated loss of sleep, and that the manuals have arrived in a very sorry state; the heavily crumpled corners of both books are at the very least an eyesore and a distraction.
Further, I'd estimated to the fella that 6.01 would be shipping within 2 weeks or so, in response to which he laughed out aloud. That was 8 days ago.
Yea I got my copy and installed it yesterday so this update is timelymonkey man wrote:Thank you for your kind thoughts, James. I've already started the download (registration must be automatic I guess), and as long as it allows me to resume tomorrow, I'll be fine.
