Great work. I installed 1.6 - so much better on the eyes, I can actually work longer. Thanks much A-dood!

Thank you for posting a rolling update (with tail), Andy; I was worried it might have been too much to ask, but am grateful for your (immediate!) response.

Way to go man. I don't watch TV anymore so this is as close as I get to viewing a series...

But let me add - what you're doing is very important. It may be the gateway to a future skins collection. I don't know if you're keeping a list of directions - a map of the underlying GUI infrastructure - but if you had a list that read something like:

1. Upper Insert Window (mixer) = [filenameXYZ.whatever] that we could all piggyback on your hard work and exceptional efforts to create even more themes within a theme with names such as, ie; West Nihilist, Monkey's Paw, Glorious, Glorious Me, etc.

Thank you, Dood.

:)

Hey, you're a musician. Perennial poordom is almost a given in that line of work. We'll just add more green to your design.

Hey Amplidood's, this is great stuff and I the 1.6.1 is where you would stay for a while. Any chances you could hook the rec/play/input from the Track Overview to the sequence window. I like the T.O. more.

Well done..
I never had any problems with the layout of the new interface, just the color..you've addressed most of that for me.
huzahhh!!

Looks good. If I might suggest... I like the way unused inserts blend with the background of the mixing board. You can easily see how many inserts are being used. This might be cool on the sends as well. :D

They actually have two different images they use for the inserts, but there's only one for the sends. That would jump into the realm of the app's actual code, which I am not at all familiar with doing. :(

Just my opinion - if you "de-green" those insert resting state colors I would give you an extra smiley.

:)
[oh, what the heck!]
:) :)

The resting state of the inserts is grey...

Having the "resting" inserts and sends be a neutral color is a brilliant idea Andy. The UI should emphasize to us what we NEED to see and demphasize what we need to ignore. I actually wrote to MOTU suggesting they do this very thing and linked to the thread here. I hope they will do this in the next release. It makes it so easy to see quickly which channels have effects insert or are using sends.
