Minimum requirements for BFD2...
OSX 10.4, G5 or Intel CPU (Mac)

I can see I have my research to do, I have been looking at the websites of the ones posted so far. I want some form of drum program but there appears to be a number of them. I need a one with a wide range of sounds from heavy metal to jazz. Like James I want some powerful sounds as well. I also want it to be fast and intuitive to use.
There have been some posts on different one••™s but I would like to take it a bit further. I am asking what ones are out there? What ones do you own, how do they work and sound. Do the have loops, VI••™s, out put MIDI? Very importantly how do the work with DP5?

BFD2's grove editor looks a bit like the drum editor in DP. :?: 8)

Yes, I've been reading the web site. I don't quite get the value add if you have DP. Patterns editor? I use DP. Mixer with sends? I have DP. More drums? Sure. Easy mapping of sounds to keys? Cool.

I'm not sure why every module feels compelled to replicate half the DAW's features these days. Do that many people use this stuff standalone?
