I started having problems with the Ultralite rigth after I updated the Mac OS to 10.4.7, I use a MacBook Intel Core Duo. I just spoke to a tech @ Sweetwater and suggested to change the settings from Sys Prefs->Energy Saver->Choice of processor performance->Details and finally, set the processor performance to highest possible.
Needless to say, I had already installed all the updated drivers from MOTU and everything was working perfectly until the MAC OS update. Now I'm banging my head on the wall, I have lots of cracks, clicks and pops working @ 44.1 and 48k.
I love the Ultralite though.

i hope a fix is on the way........
BTW i'm on a macintel 2.0 ghz .....so yeah......we're in the same boat
