Nembrini just dropped a new version of their online installer app, Nembrini Audio Central. I only have one product of theirs: Phasevibe Bundle. But this new app shows a lot of freebie plugs that look like they might be useful. See the pic below.
You may need to create an account at their site before you can grab the freebies.

I tried the LE version and found it so CPU intensive as to be almost unusable. Easily the most of any reverb that I have. MNTRA customer service told me that should not be the case, but to look for a more optimized version. Well that new version (1.0.1) seems to be even more CPU intensive. Anyone know of a fix? I like the verb, but at this point don't really want to go for the full version. At a 256 buffer:
TBH, I don't recall how much of a load the freebie version of Borealis put on my system - I didn't notice it.
I just checked on a scratch template I use to sandbox-test stuff, and Borealis wasn't red lining.
It wasn't the most intensive CPU hog (Waves Real Time tuner plugs won that award).
This test file doesn't have a ton of stuff running.
I should say I checked after installing their recent update.
I'm running a little Mac Mini (2020) with 16gb of RAM.
They have a sale on the Lindell plugs over at Plugin Alliance. Ends Monday at midnight PST AFAICT. Just picked up the Lindell 80 series for $20 which emulates some Neve gear. I've read good things about that one.

UJAM Virtual Pianist SCORE - $29 with CODE (Last Day)
I just took a look at this and I'm probably going to bite. Apparently it does come with a few piano sounds you can play like any VI, but also has a "Player" section that can play phrases, etc. I'm not a very good keyboardist, so I figured at 29 bones it might be fun to play with.
Normally $149... use coupon code SCORE-NL0924 to drop price to $29. It says offer ends on 9/30. It just worked for me so I guess it may end sometime today or at midnight in some time zone, so may not want to put it off if interested.
I use TS2 to slow down full mixes for students to play along with; or change songs where guitars were tuned down a half-step. And sometimes I get reference audio for gigs which are either in the wrong key and/or between keys-- so I can use TS2 to get it in the right key.

OK, you procrastinators, stragglers, and hold-outs; just got an email from Dont Crack with a list of deep discounts.
TS is awesome, just wish they kept their promise from ages ago to turn it into a plugin rather than just standalone.
XILS Synths are soooooo analog and vibey. I have most of them, but just grabbed the 505, so thanks!

I have to imagine that getting it to work as a plugin would be pretty challenging-- but definitely worthwhile! Alas.
Just a heads-up for anyone who cares: Nomad Factory has not rewritten many of their plugins to be Apple Silicon-native. Bus Driver (for one) works fine under Rosetta for now, but—as we've seen with 32-bit software—that won't last forever.

Is it somehow better for these purposes than Anytune (IIRC, I got Anytune after you suggested it).

I don't remember recommending Anytune (I don't have it-- but perhaps referred to it, if someone else had recently mentioned it to me). I do use Amazing Slower Downer for things on the fly. However, some of these realtime time/pitch apps have pretty bad artifacts. TS2 is nice because at any amounts, even fairly extreme, the results are gobsmackingly good.

I went for it. Paid $5 “for their server.” Anyone else getting Native Access errors in downloading? Tried a number of times, including restarting and trying again. It shows up in NA and It’s set to download where all my NI apps & sample download to. Also, I don’t use it, but I always get errors updating Machine.
