Beer Pie? I like pie and beer.

Just how does one get a name like "The Pies"?

You can tune a piano but you can't tune a fish.

Short/slang for magpies which is a native bird here in Australia.

Known for swooping down on people in mating season.

GO THE PIES

Well, we won but it wasn't memorable.

Guess what - I managed to take in the first 3 quarters, but fell asleep 14 times during the last because I was awake but warm (tightly rugged up).
I caught the last 5 seconds of the game through one eye, in true Magpie fashion (for those who don't know, one-eyed support is something "we're" famous for). :D

That's what I thought too Tom.
I'll go with that one.

I almost asked you this yesterday!

Thank you Tom; that's very perceptive of you.
Since February I've been in an added slump; it's just a little worse at the moment.
Oh, how I long for, need and crave warm weather.

The town next to mine where my school tax go wanted to become a mini city and had ramped development. They built a number of new housing the land owners got rich, the developers got rich, the real estate people got rich now they need new schools and want a bond measure. The bond measure will add $240 per $100K of assessed value.
So now every one got rich and F’d up their area and want me to pay for it.
F them!

P.S. due to my wife’s health we never had kids, I just pay for every one else’s kids.
This is a statement of economics not politics.

I hear ya, Tom. If I were married, even though I'm a guy (unlike your wife), I'd not have had kids yet for fear of not being able to give them the energy they'd deserve.
Further, I'd not want them to see me like this.
I've avoided cameras for decades for the same reason.

Monkey health update:
Just weighed myself for the first time since Feb (63kg then), and I'm now 59.
First time under 60.

The lower-leg rash that started in Feb is still there, worse than ever, even though I've used essential oils including tea tree, coconut oil, clay (for adsorbing toxins), and even cortisone cream as a last resort (I haven't used meds since age 15).

The rotator cuff lesion I somehow acquired in Feb (what was it about Feb?) is also no better, and seems to have affected the nerve/muscle growth in that arm.
I just learned that the arm has become really skinny (I don't get to see my bod often - long story), so much so that it's about half the mass of my left (I'm right handed!).
I know there's much more than a simple lack of use going on here.
This is probably the main reason I've lost more weight, anyway.

Sorry. I thought you'd appreciate this stuff in light of the fact that your wife has autoimmune too, Tom.
Depending on what happens when I jump on the blower and spill these beans to the relevant party/ies tomorrow, I might have to take measures that'll see me short on time for my beloved 2nd home (hey, it's better than where I live! LOL).

As always, should I disappear for a bit, I'll miss you guys more than you can know.

Canned asparagus makes my bathroom smell funny. Should I buy the organic instead?

UPDATE: Just read your post MM. I see that I'm being as appropriate as ever in my entries. ;)

I think what we have here is an unmasking festival. Probably about time. Too often we hide behind our user names and say so little that everyone else imagines that we know so much more that we really do. Well, except me, right MM? ;) Welcome to civilization. This is a good idea MM.

Hang in there and let me know if I can help you kOK.

Thank you Mark! :D

I'm all cleaned up now, so as long as I'm smelling like roses, you might as well come over if you'd like.
I'm definitely not cooking with gas, and the excitement will likely affect me for days, but it's got to happen man.

Oh yeah, let's start a CheckList:
Portable drive or swathe of blank DVDs.
iTunes library, including your stuff.
Brain.
Beer (for you).

Whaddaya think of CheckList 1.0, eh?

EDIT: Yikes! You squeezed that post in there and I missed it.
You're right, it's getting kinda late, but tonight was a big night - I had a monkey bath and shower.
Can you imagine the mayhem?
