Looks like this plug doesn't lend itself to being automated. At least not for my system.
Have you tried setting the record button on the mixer? The plug doesn't have a record button, but I have been able to record automation in the plugs via the mixing board.
I did try that, Mike. Just now I put the Pultec plug along with a MW EQ on the same track, record enabled the automation for the track, hit play and then moved a gain knob on both plugs. The MW EQ recorded the move (you can see it in the SE) but nothing for the Pultec.

You say this works for you? May be a DP 6 or 7 thing...

Again thanks for such enthusiastic testimonials!

The problem is that going through user feedback, some say there are missing "BlueTubes", others mention missing "Essentials", missing "Analogs", etc. At the end, if we want to please everyone, it is the "Integral Bundle" that we'd have to give out

Nevertheless We do monitor users feedback and we'll tale all comments in consideration when launching the next release of the "Producer Pack"... And all previous users will have a free upgrade on that ! just be patient !

Thanks again for the comments and the kind words...

Thanks so much. This is what works in the world customer service.!!!! :D

Having bought the original Producer Pack I, the only change is the addition of the Pultec - someone had asked about that earlier.

As for the diversity of plugs without the full collection, I think it's good marketing. It gives everyone not only a satisfying taste of the plugins' potential, but also a good stare at the manual to show you what else is available to buy. That list of plugins was always right there in front of our eyes, but I must admit that when I first bought these things I also thought I was getting more of what was in the manuals. But even so, these are better plugs than most and even better priced.

Just to reiterate, I fully realize that the list of plugins was right in front of us. In my enthusiasm and excitement, I just failed to notice that it was not the same list as the manuals, though even a little bit of attention on my part would immediately have revealed the vast difference between the two.

But I FULLY agree with David Polich that this is the deal of the year. 27 plugins @ under $10? Who can find anything to complain about??? I was just sort of sighing a lament earlier, at my kid-at-Christmas wish-list upon seeing certain plugins in the manuals. (esp. the deesser and stereo processor) plus a few others.

The plugins that DO appear in the Producer's Pack have given me a whole new way of thinking about my sound. As someone else noted, the presets are VERY intelligently prepared, showing us the power and range of each plugin. Wow! I'm still blown away. And it's not like I don't have great plugins in the Waves Platinum and the L3 Multi-Maximizer. I've always been drawn to fancy graphic displays, but I really love the "chicken beak" knobs and numbers that tell us exactly what we're doing.

Just one request... I really need all my dynamics plugs to go up to 11. Can't we get that extra bit of oomph with just one more digit? (Just a joking Spinal Tap reference...) and while we're at it, how about the BlueTube Sausage Enhancer? [BAD Shooshie! Bad!]

Ok, I think I've made myself clear here. These plugins make my audio happy, which makes me happy. Thanks, Don'tCrack and Nomad Factory. You've done us a big favor.

Or maybe an Aphex "Big Bottom" emulation to complete the Spinal Tap
collection? :D

You personal and physical problems are inappropriate for this section, Shoosh. Perhaps a post in The Thread might get you some sympathy... LOL!

BTW, would that plug be more for The Blue Man Group?

I gave up trying to read between the lines on this one...I went ahead and bought the BT DeEsser at full retail for $89 (I am constantly wishing I had a good one handy). Patience is not one of my strong points. I figure now my 28 Plugs cost me $12.07 each instead of 27 at $9.22 each...so really, the addition cost me less that $3!

My kids call that NEW MATH...

But that IS the way the math works. Nomad Factory figures that
customers who buy the Producer Pak will take an interest in the
plugs that aren't in the pack and buy some additional ones - like
the De-Esser.

I say, get the offer while the gettin's still good - thanks to
DontCrack for extending it!
