I downloaded and installed mod. I could not get a new project or a previous project to load. I would get a error 108 out of memory....

I love the look of the mod I hope you can help me get it to work... thanks for all your work.

Hi waxman!

I need to know if you followed the step by step instructions ( sorry about the p at the end of the link...now fixed http://www.creativesoundlab.com/darkmod.html ).
I think this error is a sign that you have a missing .png or .xml file. (maybe one of them got corrupt when downloading ...but I doubt it).
Anyway. It looks like when you did the install you forgot to put some file in the place it should be.
If you followed the step by step instrucctions then there is no problem as I'm sure you did the first step: GOLDEN RULE: Backup your DP6.01 copy.
If not, don't panic...just re-install it and follow the step by step instructions. It should work like charm.

Ok got it iPerformer... my mistake was taking out all the .png files instead of just adding.

so my suggestion in the directions is to have the people make copies of the resource folders and a copy of the pgm. Then if they have a problem just add back the folders...

anyway the mod is way cool... I use is with a Mackie Universal pro and 2 ext... for some reason all the colors work better and the vibe is great. You knocked it out of the park with this one. I hope the MOTU guys do something for ya...

About your suggestion on making a copy of resource folder...hmm , I prefer to insist on making a backup of DP6.01 app. that's safer 'cause the problem won't alway be in the resources folder.

That is the way to go IMHO, IP. After all, it's easy to accidentally modify or delete any of the folders within the app, and arguably easier and safer to copy the app back in the case of corruption. A good, clean start is always the way to go IMHO.

Yeah I did the back up copy of 6.01 also... Actually I took out just the files you said and put them back twice. It works fine. But if I do have problems then I will trash it and go to the back up copy...

I noticed the MOTU site does not have my stuff on there. I will need to call them...

Good job, iPerformer, after making several backups of DP6.01 I accomplished your installation. No problems so far, and I must say the monitor is a lot easier on my eyes now.

So what happens when DP 6.02 comes out?

Thanks. I'm glad you liked DM 4.0.
About your question on DP6.02. I'm pretty sure an update for some graphics will be needed but just that , so as soon as 6.02 comes out (hope Santa comes with a new update this Xmas) I'll take a look and fix an update for DM 4.0 (if needed).
