If you've gone through hoops to duplicate all sorts of obscure delay effects on guitars, or tried to sound like Joe Walsh or David Gilmour, this plugin is for you. It has a few extra features that make some of these effects really easy to duplicate, and one of the more convincing tape emulations I've heard.
Hmmm... I saw that. Was very tempted, but my plug-in spending has been out of control lately. Sigh. Maybe I'll demo it.
Yes, I vowed to stop spending money on plugins. But you’ll remember Asshton Park by James Gang. Does it perfectly. If you demo it, you’ll want it.

And I”m impressed by PSP at the moment. They’re quietly updating their stuff for the new chips, making improvements in the plugin operations, coming up with nice new stuff, and not charging a lot.

TC Electronic 2290-DT Dynamic Digital Delay with Controller blowout $69

Post by James Steele »

I happened across some videos about this TC Electronic Delay Plug-in that comes with the little USB hardware controller... and checked Thomann and it was 138... then decided to check Sweetwater (assuming it might be more) and found Sweetwater is doing a blowout on this delay plug and hardware controller combo for $69... with free shipping. Heck... I have a little bit of space free on my desk... it might be fun. At $74 including tax it won't be a disaster if it's not all that great, but if I can get any use out of it, it may be worthwhile.

I've been sweatin' on Echo for a few days now. Seems solid.

Anyone know when the sale will end?

Everything I’ve seen just says “introductory offer” with no specific expiry date.

AudioDeluxe 12th Anniv Sale...

Post by James Steele »

Audio Deluxe has their 12th Anniversary Sale going on right now. Lot of plugs starting at just $12, but also it appears that if you buy certain products they will throw in UVI Model D for FREE in your cart. At least they did when I put UVI 1250 VI in my cart:

https://www.audiodeluxe.com/products/vi ... /uvi-u1250

The thing is I already own Model D, so not sure if I want to get it. Maybe there's a way I an give the license to a friend and maybe let him use the redeem code for it and put the license on his iLok. Hmmm...

In 2015, I wound up with three copies of Model D and was able to transfer a license to my daughter's iLok account. I don't recall if I emailed the redemption code to her or if I emailed UVI first.

It looks like it will be pretty straightforward. Audio Deluxe sent me two separate emails: one with a serial number for U1250 and another for Model D. I'm pretty sure all my friend has to do is make an account at UVI if he doesn't have one already, make sure he enters his iLok account info there, download UVI Portal, and then just register the Model D serial number to his account. I can't do anything with an extra license, and since it was free at least someone will get some use out of it.

Heavyocity "Avant" Rhodes VI Intro Sale

Post by Rick Cornish »

Hey folks......
Just got an email from Heavyocity about their new "Avant" Rhodes VI. I looked at the walkthrough and preset play-through and am interested. I have quite a few electric piano VIs, but this one seems to offer some new stuff.

Not a blistering deal—$99 until 10/28 (regularly $119)—but $20 is $20…

PSP Impressor on "AES Sale" for $29 instead of $99

Post by James Steele »

You should be able to see the deal on their home page here:

https://www.pspaudioware.net/UserArea/store/view

The individual plug in page still shows a price of $99, but when you add to cart from their home page it gives you the $29 price. $70 off. Not bad.

Yes, not bad. Quite good. There were posts here from Monkey around March when it was $19. Maybe a niche thing; it has a nice warm swooshy sound I recall from many moons ago.

I’m not sure it ever got that low, but if you say so. You could be right. I know that it actually is a relatively newer plug-in of theirs.

I got it for about $20. But $29 is a bargain.
