Okay I found the problem
" DigiDioMidiDriver.plugin "
Its weird how this didn't effect me untill I installed DP4.61.
Does anybody know whats up this this? Is it a digi driver?

Okay I can open Audio MIDI setup but, DP\Logic\Protools do not open now any ideas?
They freeze about half way threw.

I tried rebooting everything several times. Nothing. Finally, with everything turned on, I simply unplugged the MIDI interface waited a few seconds and plugged it back in. I did this on both sides of the cable. Each time I could hear the drive kick in for the USB auto sensing.
That apparantly was the handshake needed to get it going. Its been fine since.
