Indeed I can second that based on what I've seen on youtube.
Some peeps have purposely pushed 'em and not a whimper.
Does anybody have a Mac Mini M4 yet?

Noticed at a local independent Apple dealer, they have the M4 Mini with 512G internal storage, a keyboard and mouse (and large leather pad), and two years of their equivalent of Apple Care for the equivalent of US650, versus over US1000 for the same configuration at the Apple Store. I guess this is a way around the pricing controls Apple imposes.
Would be a no brainer for me, except I have a large supply of keyboards and meese, and never buy Apple Care anyway. Maybe still worth it.

Re: Does anybody have a Mac Mini M4 yet?
I took delivery of my Mini M4 Pro yesterday, and have now spent some time with it.
I've posted two issues with DP on the Mac troubleshooting forum that make it untenable with DP. I'm hoping these are fixable, as this appears to be the only block to moving all my work to it, and retiring my Intel MacPro.
I've had to pay to upgrade three or four utilities so far to be compatible with AS and Sequoia. That's no surprise. So far, no supplier of my DAW / DP add-ons (like VIs and plug-ins) have asked for money, but that's a whole different story with my Adobe add-ons.
I can now answer one of my questions in the OP: I can use multiple instances of Cherry Sines and Phase Plant in a Sequence and not spike my CPU. On my two Intel Macs, I can't even use one instance of certain presets without my DP Real Time CPU meter clipping.
