VST plugins not being scanned - DP11, macOS 12.5, M1

Good luck. You're not alone! Plug in handling is a ridiculous flaw in DP. We shouldn't be having to deal with this buggy bulls*&%t

Also consider switching whatever plug ins possible to AUs which tend to be more stable.

Plug validation is not near as bad as it used to be. Still not perfect and varies by platform. The only problem with going exclusively AU is you're giving up cross platform compatibility.

One interesting thing, for me at least, is that MOTU has scheduled a webinar with Blue Cat this coming Friday. Blue Cat Patchwork is one of the only plugs I have that fails VST3 validation on both platforms. No plans here to switch back to VST or AU.

That solved it. Many thanks! I needed only one VST plugin, the Roli Studio Player, to control other plugins.

Note: This is not possible with the AU plugin, so please make sure to only use the VST3 version. Also, not all DAWs support sending a MIDI-out from one plugin to another so we’ll need to use a DAW that is compatible.
Logic Pro, for example, uses exclusively AU plugins so this DAW does not support this feature. Others like Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio support VST3 and also sending MIDI from one plugin to another, so we'll focus on these two in this guide."

Digital Perfomer can also send MIDI from one plugin to another. I´ve already tested this on my MacBook Air.
