Hi kwiz,
I use your same path and I guess you also use the monitoring meters in DP. The strange thing is that I tried to monitor on the rosetta. Brought up levels to max without the overload leds turning on - signals ok. Monitoring meters in DP = overload. Even with only one channel active. That's why I think there is the need for calibration. Factory settings should be +4=-16dBfs
What do you reckon?
PS: I took a look at the support page of the rosetta, there is an interesting calibration guide...

You're right there is definitley a need for calibration. I confirmed what you state and recorded 8 tracks of tone just to check my playback levels and as long as I monitor through the Rosetta's Digital outs I/O levels are identical which has always been the case for me. But when monitoring through the analog outs I drop down about 10db. In reality I need to calibrate my Rosetta and my dangerous 2bus LT with my DM-24 in order to be completely level matched and that ain't gonna happen right now

Of course that's not wise advise if you're doing digital recording, but the method behind that madness is based on what your ears are telling you, not what your eyes are telling you via the meters.
Great family and friends!
