Kontakt Record/Playback Issues DP 10.13

Thank you for the help, HCMarkus, and to everybody else on here, as well!

I began to suspect something was seriously amiss with all this stuff because I was getting the same issues on many different DAWs and VI hosting software. So I tried out the other Shreddage 3 instruments and various other intensive Kontakt libraries and Kontakt played them just fine. Something is apparently amiss with Shreddage 3 Legacy's scripting and various DAWs that's causing faulty playback, but I think Kontakt itself is working fine, as is DP. I'm not having that weird issue with any other Kontakt library or VI.

Update: with Kontakt v6.5.3 and DP 11 (and v10.1.3), what I'm experiencing is, I can load Kontakt into a DP 11 project, load up the Shreddage 3 library and play it inside of DP with no problems. However, when I actually record a MIDI track, I get the truncated sound, and the truncated sound also happens on playback of that MIDI track. The only way I can bypass this is to load the Kontakt standalone app, "wire" it up with Blackhole and ipMIDI and record MIDI and audio into DP externally. I'm tempted to record a couple of sound files and post them here, just so I can illustrate the problem.

NI has released multiple updates to Kontakt in the last few weeks—some within days of each other. Open Native Access and update to 6.6.0. Not only was that announced as an update but it's been out over a week.

When done, shut down then restart your Mac. It wouldn't load into DP for me on a reboot. Others have experienced this in the Finale Forum.

I'll certainly give it a shot, but since this has been happening for me since v10 (though it seems like earlier versions of Kontakt v6 would play truncated sounds in DP even when not recording, so either DP or Kontakt has possibly worked on this somewhat), I'm skeptical that NI's fixed the problem. Thanks for the reply and the suggestion, though!
