There's a button to click so your browser will do just that. Highly recommended.

The findings that were presented seem marginal. None of the results have been posted so all we have is the word on the o/p. Unless we know and respect that person's playback systems and environment, as well as their audio acuity and testing procedures, the findings are essentially useless. Claiming that one is better than another or that one is more or less accurate is also quite useless.
Ok. At least THAT's constructive criticism. That's what I'd expect to see here, someone reasoning as to why an OP test (or whatever) is flawed. That can lead to a better test and an interesting discussion.

OTOH, just dismissing TDH and implying he's a "wannabee" musician who never plays music because he didn't say something nice about DP, or because he's perceived as someone who complains about it, isn't something useful, and is inflammatory and insulting. It's contrary to the "spirit" of the forum.

That was the very definition of an Ad Hominem attack. For free... (focus on the perceived OP's personality, not on his argument).

Yeah. Well the internet isn’t known for its fellowship sometimes. Rest assured this was not an attack on the o/p. I have the same problem with magazine shoot outs. They’ll compare 30 DAWs and leave out DP. What’s THAT about?

It's not part of RX 5, must've come along with 6. Which has a 30% upgrade path currently....

I should have just logged in before browsing. Then I wouldn't have seen this.

You know, on guitar forums, there are two kinds of posters: actual musicians, who make music, and wannbees, who buy everything, complain about all of it, and don't ever play (or contribute) anything of value.

Gee, what a surprise! GJ zealously (but emptily) trying (always very poorly) to defend DP when someone says something "mean" about it.

Gee! Look! The guy who hand-waves away presented DP flaws and who insults people that dare criticize/mention DP issues.

What is your problem, dude?
And your contributions are "of value", like you mentioned in your response?

Why is it so hard for you to take some DP criticism? Why? Really, WHY? WHY?

Why are you so emotionally invested in it? Aren't you not making/playing music for wasting time defending DP in the internet so much?

Defending it like a treasure won't make it perfect or even bug-free. Stating its issues/possible improvements and letting MOTU tech support know about them will!
Is that what you think? I know you have a real hard time understand things, but this seems so simple.

And I don't "defend" DP "on the internet" so much. I just think it's idiotic that you and other mods allowed this obvious troll to establish himself as a contributing member to this forum. What's really parking hilarious is how hard you all defend TDH when he's never contributed a worthwhile post.

As for DP, I don't even use it anymore. I don't care what happens to MOTU. I'm just sick of Too Damn Hip. And this entire forum, actually.

I guess I'm done.

I wasn’t defending or taking sides. Frankly, I’m surprised I haven’t been bumped for my critical remarks. At least they got me to stop posting pictures of neked ladies. Lol
