I've been using the previous (beige) version of the single-channel FaderPort for a while, mostly to ride levels on mixes. It's a little clunky in the way that you determine which track is active. (The AlphaTrack, that I used previously, had a little LED screen that read out the active track name, which was really nice.) FaderPort does work for transport and levels, just a little kludgy and sometimes, that can be frustrating.
