Mine is my primary audio in and audio out to DP.

A new converter might sound better than your MOTU, but it wouldn't be because of the software, just newer, presumably better A/D D/A. If there is indeed an improvement in the sound with 9.1, probably many of us would hear it regardless of what (professional) interface we are using.

Don't know Buzz, I have RME's. my issues have been solved though. I rolled back to 9.02 and things are fine for me although 9.2 sounds allot better.
