For those of us who have forgotten or never knew most of our Terminal commands, could someone write out (or paste in) the whole script we are supposed to type into Terminal?
I'd like to see if this would fix my Unlimited Undo bug. I've never been able to use branching undo in DP, despite attempting it in every version since it became available.

The Terminal command script is here.
You can paste it into an Apple Script if you might be using it a lot.

I would back up the Preferences before running that script by moving the file onto the Desktop.

Correct. You want to keep these:
com.motu.DigitalPerformer (folder)
com.motu.DigitalPerformer.plist
com.motu.MotuAudioSystem
as well as any of your templates and custom themes. But you can get these from Time Machine too.
