Is this it?
You two never call. I sit here by the phone all day and all I get is grey hair. I might even have a fatal disease, but don't worry about it. I'll be fine.

Last week I rang a reputable gas-heating company to inform it of the 35(!) errors I found on its 2-page mail-out service reminder.
I was transferred to the service dept. where a defensive lass called Melissa fielded the call. She didn't believe me in the first instance, whereupon I broke the entire mail-out down in response to her question, "such as?". I've a feeling she thought she had me right there.
Having walked her through the pamphlet from go to woe, I offered to, free of charge, proof-read
all subsequent advertising documents. Seriously. I figured this could possibly lead to actual work one day. Her response? "So, would you like to book a service?". No "thank you". Nothing.
It took me a while to get over that one, especially having put so much time into it. I can't help but think that the front desk had put me through to the person who wrote the damned thing! I've kept the pamphlet, armed for next year's mail-out. Should it prove similarly deficient, I'll surely give 'em, especially "Melissa", a piece of my mind. "You turned down a free offer, only to serve us this tripe yet again? Fools!". Part of me can't wait; I just
know they'll muck it up again, what with an attitude like that. LOL

I think that the next version of the nMP won't be released until Apple has the usb 3.1 chip sets -- that has to be the hold-up. Perhaps an onboard 2T SSD will be available now that OWC has an aftermarket blade available. Better graphics cards that can handle 4K over one pipe, one would hope. I expect an evolutionary update.
The nMP is an unqualified success for Apple. Their Texas subcontractor hired 1,200 people to build it and there haven't been any layoffs.
Switching to an SSD put off my need to upgrade for awhile. Still, when I do, I'd like to consider the nMP. The current version (with three years AppleCare) would certainly meet my needs. I wouldn't mind 2T onboard, however.
That's good news, Mike. Thank you for your insights. Looks like it's not going anywhere then...

I thought that's what it meant. Seriously, people have gotten to the point where a three letter word is abbreviated? How ironic. In a world where we communicate on a near constant basis we can't write out "new." Well thanks NTM!

If I could still type, I might agree with you. OK, I can, sort of… right hand only – and it's the wrong hand. Though it's disabled, I am still left handed.
When I say "New Mac Pro" (I had to spell it just now), it comes out nMP in Dragon Dictate 4 Mac Edition. I am quite fine with this.
Apple Text to Speech is pretty good but Dragon Dictate is better.

If you Google "Apple nMP" you'll see that it's the "official" acronym, bordering on name.

LOL. What's this stand for, Magilla?
Nicky The Man?
Nicky The Monkey?
