The 16 hour recordings I mentioned above were 3 mono tracks at 44.1/24. I experienced no problems at all with these, either in recording them, or later in editing and using them as you would any other audio files. The files are 7G, and so exceed the two limits mentioned. I made sure there was something on the time line at the position of the expected end of the files, in this case, the right memory location.

I'll be trying longer recordings in the early new year at 48K, and hope to be able to get recordings a week long.
