Programming the application specific settings can be a bit confusing, but they work. You have to add the application (it's easier if it's running) then select it from the drop down and program the shortcuts unless you want to use the defaults.

It's rock solid.

Don't forget app nap and perhaps this...

No prob. The control panel app for SteerMouse is not unlike USB Overdrive or the Logitech one. I also disabled App Napp for the SteerMouse app. :) Thanks again! I'm thinking this is going to be much more solid than the Logitech driver. Sad testament to Logitech's support of their own devices. :(

I have found ONE issue with SteerMouse. It seems that when I hover over the edge of a Finder window, the cursor does not change to the resize cursor until I click. It does it for other apps it seems.

Hmmm... It seems to be working here. I'll see if I can duplicate that.

Yep. Maybe a restart and permissions repair?

You have that issue also? I emailed the developer about it. It'll be nice if there's a fix, but I can live with it. :)

Yep, I mean, NOPE! (Yep, to my previous post). I don't have the issue. The arrows and indicators all show up normally. Sorry for the confusion.

Looks like it could be a good contender if Quickeys ever goes away. Right now I've got my Qucikeys setup just as I like them, but thanks. This looks interesting, for sure.

Well, I just got my mouse working right again. I looked at the main page for that app and got a headache. More powerful = more complex. Maybe down the road I'll take another look. :)

It seems a bit of overkill to just get more out of the mouse, but it also looks like a powerful macro creation app. DEFINITELY a learning curve there...
