Yep, I misread.

OK... I get it... I need to actually use my Superfocus glasses when I'm looking at my screen. That is why I bought them, after all... :surrender:

Haha! Nice pic, Mike. Sorry for drifting off-topic, but do those glasses actually work? I have issues with my vision since getting Meningitis and am wondering how useful those spectacles are...

Well if we're going to be uploading self portraits... of course, I had more hair and less brains then.

One post only.

I have diabetic eyes (my vision changes sometimes by the hour) and like most of us hitting the ahem... 60 mark, middle distance vision sucks.

Yes they work. Pretty well, in fact. Reading is crisp. My computer is sharp and clear - when I remember to put them on.

I don't like the narrow field of vision and the constant adjustment, especially having only one functioning arm so I don't always wear them - in fact, never outside. Wore them and sat too close to a movie once, never again. I dislike them for driving - tunnel vision. The lenses are one size only: too small.

I had them in my shirt pocket when someone gave me a hug at an event and threw the mechanism out of alignment. It took nearly a month before I got them back.

They're expensive but less than my last pair of progressives. The extended warranty - yes, buy it (see above). They do offer a "no questions asked" 30 day money back guarantee. I was able to buy them through my eye doctor and got a slight reimbursement through my insurance (and I do mean slight).

I'm glad I bought them and would do so again. I like them around the home, office and indoors. I can read at any distance now and watch TV clearly. I recommend them but none of my friends have taken the plunge. I feel the money is well spent. I would hate for these to be the only pair of specs that I own, however.

I'm done. Back to our regular program.
