FWIW, in order to get the above to work, I had to go; DP>Preferences>Display>Consolidated Windows>Defaults - which selected *all* of the windows for Consolidated - then click each one to deselect it and hit Done. That seemed to wipe out whatever memory of window selections Prefs had and now no more Consolidated when I open Mixer!

It's like you were at an archeological dig, and dusting off an old thread, you discovered for yourself the answer to an ancient mystery. Sometimes, I get a DP project from a client with lots of consolidation tabs/panes-- and my brain blurts out "Gaah!"
