Do you have the PCI-424 or the PCIX-424 card? You can tell by how many notches are in the PCI connector itself. The PCI-424 has one notch, the PCIX-424 has two notches.

Sometimes when these are sold used, the vendor sells the older PCI card, not the newer, supported PCIX card. I know some people do, by chance, get the older cards to work, but they are known to be troublesome.

I have PCIX 424.
I will try to connect the 2408 whith windows turn on tomorrow.

If i connect the 2408MKIII with windows turn on the pciX (or windows??) don't see anything.

I create a MOTU'techlink

Hi,
I have news of my card.
Apparently the problem became to the PCI 424.
After a lot of test the conclusion of lorne (motu technicien) is
"Salut Elie, Merci pour la mise à jour. Ainsi, deux ordinateurs différents, même problème, c'est exact? Si oui, qui suggère la carte elle-même doit être le dénominateur commun. Je suggère d'avoir la carte remplacée par notre distributeur français. "
