So are you using 1 consolidated window on each of the two screens, or just keeping a dedicated stand alone window like mixing board on the second monitor screen?

I think you can only have on CW at a time. Second mon. is for various stuff. Sometimes a movie, MIDI editor, mixer, etc. Stuff that needs more real estate from time to time. Again, you can set a window to pop out of the CW and land on the second monitor or have to window inactive until you call it up on the 2nd monitor. All in full screen mode.

I went to 2 monitors in 2010. Now I don't know how I functioned with only one. If I had the space for three, I'd go there.

I need certain things within my one-arm reach so, for the moment, re-configuring my desk is not an option.

When monitors were small and expensive I lusted after three as well, and have had two for as long as I can remember now. 19" monitors seemed OK but I still needed real estate. Two 24" diagonal/ widescreen in landscape works very well. If I am in Finale and setting parts, I rotate the second monitor to portrait and page setups are much easier on the eyes, even with multiple pages in view. Score on monitor one in landscape. Parts in monitor 2 in portrait. As one of my students used to say: Loving! :unicorn:
