I must have an unusual version of DP8 because I don't have this keyboard focus issue at all.
James, I'm pretty sure that this is one of those things that happens due to a certain trigger or combination of triggers. They could be related to drivers, software, user actions, or a number of things. Remember when I made that database years and years ago to trap a few bugs that people were having, but which were inexplicable? I wasn't having ANY of those, but I made the database to find it, then put out a questionnaire, and soon the reason became completely obvious: it was a certain version of the MOTU audio drivers. But it took the database to figure it out. I hate to have to do that again, but if we don't get any joy from MOTU, then we'll have to. It's a huge problem for those of us who have it.

I'd love to be able to compare our systems and see where the main differences are. There is a reason why some people do and some people don't. I just want to find that reason.
