I`ve worked a long time with nearly all synths - software and hardware. Regarding your question: M5v3 ist really one of the best synth/samplers because of the multiple sound engines. I posted a topic on our new soundpack a few days ago.. just have a look and listen to the audio and video demos.
The soundpack XPANDER SEQUENCES uses M5v3 sound engines- NO SAMPLES. It has a special sound which was intended, but with M5 you can realize any sound. I tested Zebra, Diva and sure they sound great. But M5 expands the programming capabilities because of more sound engines and at a very low! CPU level.
