Who should post it? MOTU? I thought about bringing a video camera and taping the demo, and then downloading and digitizing it from my camcorder and spend a few hours doing this, or just enjoying the show and taking care of business that I needed to do *personally* for myself at the show. I did the latter. If you had been at the show would you have taped it and posted it or waited for someone else to do it? I think that answers your question. It's up to the music media to do this, or MOTU... but most users aren't going to be bothered, and here we are now.
Yes it would be great if Motu would actually I have a friend that attended, but he wasn't able to do catch it.Hopefully they caught some of the action,or more details, and pics.

I spoke to Magic Dave from Motu.If your not a customer of mach five 2 yet and you buy it within the next two weeks, you'll get m5v3 for free! Great deal for those who don't already own m5v2..I wasn't told of anything regarding us upgrading,he said to watch the Motu site for more info regarding upgrades, release dates etc.
Not sure if Motu has went public with this yet,but I'm sure the sales dept. won't mind getting new customers cheers.

Just saw the Sonic State video today (was out of town for ten days) and am glad this is already getting some buzz, at the demo is quite exciting regarding new features and GUI layout.
Given the new scripting features, I am hoping this release will finally entice other developers to offer third party libraries for Mach Five. That's the only reason I never bought it, but the bundled library with V3 and the free upgrade from V2 is already tempting even before more details come out!
As a software engineer, I am far more impressed by UVI/MOTU making use of this well-designed and proven scripting language, already being used by Adobe Lightroom, than the hard-to-program proprietary scripting language of Kontakt (which changes every release).
And for those (such as myself) who do not already own Mach Five V2, there is a $279 cross-grade option, which might be lower than the upcoming V3 cross-grade (given that we get V3 for free if we buy V2 now).
As most of those products cannot be resold or have their licenses transferred, it does not appear that one has to give up one of them to qualify for the cross-grade offer. I'll see if I can find more information on this though.
